Celebrity Democracy: When Saving America Comes with a Price Tag

My friends, reports last week revealed Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign paid LeBron James’ production company $50,000 for “campaign event production.” Why do Leftists always seem to profit so handsomely from "saving our democracy"?

If Kamala wants to pay LeBron, Beyoncé, and Oprah — who reportedly pocketed $165,000 and $1 million, respectively — I suppose that’s their business. But can they get paid for something other than a bad case of endorsementitis?

Do you think Thomas Jefferson made a cool mil from writing the Declaration of Independence? Hardly. The Founders risked everything — their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor — to stand against tyranny.

Something tells me Kamala’s celebrity cheerleaders wouldn’t sign that pledge. Unless, of course, it came with a big check and the opportunity to virtue signal on Instagram.
