Silent Majority: When Conservative Common Sense Speaks Volumes

My friends, when I attended American University, I was the lone, vocal conservative in the classroom.

In fact, sometimes five students joined forces to argue against little ole me!

I assumed the other 20 students, refraining from the debate, agreed with them.

Then one day, after class, one of those refrained classmates, named Chris, said, “Todd, you just have so much common sense.”

I couldn’t disagree, but I wasn’t expecting that. I thought his silence meant he sided with my opponents. Turns out, he agreed with me — he just didn’t want the wrath of angry liberals.

The lesson? Silence doesn’t always mean agreement with the loudest voices. Chances are, the quiet ones are nodding along with common sense.

And let’s be honest — common sense isn’t compatible with the blind rage of the Radical Left.
