God's Divine Deliverance: From Passover to the Cross

My friends, one of the last things Jesus did before His arrest was celebrate the Passover meal with His disciples. This Last Supper is believed to have taken place on Thursday night, just hours before His betrayal.

This wasn’t just any meal — it was the Seder, a Jewish tradition commemorating God’s deliverance of the Israelites from 400 years of slavery in Egypt.

But the symbolism didn’t stop there. Just as Yahweh parted the Red Sea to deliver His people, Jesus was about to do something even greater — deliverance from the penalty of sin.

Through Communion, we commemorate God’s ultimate deliverance through Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God.

My friends, Yahweh is a God who delivers.

Will you trust Him to deliver you this Easter?
