Life Under A Leftist President

Bill Maher is a liberal, but not a radical leftist. Recently, he had CNN anchor, Laura Coates, on his show discussing poll numbers between President Biden and Donald Trump. He was curious how Trump had moved ahead of Biden by 10 points. Coates made the comment that Americans are engaging in feel-onomics. “You can tell me about the wins, but I don’t feel them. If I’m not going to win then you aren’t either.”

  • Murder isn’t wrong because it’s against the law. It’s against the law because it violates the moral law.

  • There is a difference between a law rooted in the moral (or natural) law and a law steeped in administration

  • And a law that oppresses and violates our freedom to choose is unjust.

  • Besides that, terrorism requires that violence and/or threat of violence is used to achieve a political ends. Is pouring tea in the harbor an act of violence? Come on!

• Are smart phones making kids dumb?

  • This is another teachable moment.

  • Who’s smarter: the person who figured something out for the first time or those of us who knew these things because someone told us?

  • I once said something like: we have information at our fingertips but we don’t know what to do with it.

  • Knowledge and wisdom are not synonymous.

• Homelessness at/near all-time high due, in large part, to Bidenflation

  • Teachable moment here: Liberals want to talk about things like homelessness. Conservatives want people to be prosperous so that they don’t experience it.
