You Asked for It – Real Questions, Real Answers

Got a question about politics, culture, faith—or just want to know what I really think? You're in the right place.

This is You Asked for It—where real people submit real questions, and I give real answers. Sometimes serious. Sometimes sarcastic. Always conservative, not bitter.

If you send a question, there’s a good chance I’ll answer it here—because if you’re asking, others are too. I’ll only use your first name (or username if public), and it’s never to embarrass—it’s to keep it real.

Your Questions, My Answers

Below you’ll find the questions I’ve already answered—tough ones, honest ones, even a few wild ones. If you’ve got something on your mind, don’t be shy—ask away.

Republicans offered a clean bill to keep the government open — no cuts, no pork, no new spending. Democrats blocked it with the filibuster and blamed Republicans for the shutdown.

How This Works

My job is to give good, thoughtful answers to as many people as possible.

So if you send me a question—whether here, by email, text, or social media—there’s a good chance I’ll answer it publicly. Why? Because if you are asking, chances are a lot of other people are wondering the same thing.

When I answer, I’ll post it here on the You Asked for It blog and send you the link when I can. You won’t be ignored—and you might help start a conversation that matters.

If you ask your question privately, I’ll only use your first name if I reference you on the site. If you post publicly (like on X or Facebook), I’ll try to use your username—but honestly, I’d still rather use your first name.

This is never to humiliate or dox you. That’s not how I operate. It’s simply to keep things human—because real people asking real questions is what this whole thing is about.

And who knows? Your question might just be the one that makes a long-lasting impression.
