The Stack: Elon Musk, Jesus, and the Most Important Decision You’ll Ever Make
Elon Musk recently stated that he agrees with the teachings of Jesus. While that may sound encouraging, it raises a far more important question: Is Jesus merely a moral teacher — or is He something much more?
Drawing from C.S. Lewis’s powerful argument in Mere Christianity, this episode explores why calling Jesus a “great teacher” is not an option He left open to us. If Christ claimed to be God, then He cannot logically be reduced to an inspirational philosopher. He must be either liar, lunatic, or Lord.
Todd walks through key biblical passages where Jesus claimed divinity — including His use of “I AM” and “Son of Man” — and explains why those claims led religious leaders to accuse Him of blasphemy.
In a culture that wants the inspiration of Jesus without surrendering to His authority, this episode confronts the unavoidable choice every person must make.

📝 Transcript: Elon Musk, Jesus, and the Most Important Decision You’ll Ever Make
The Todd Huff Show – February 19, 2026
Host: Todd Huff
Todd Huff: All right, my friends, it is a pleasure to be here. Indeed. Thank you for joining us. A little bit of housekeeping off the top of the program here. I will be out next week. I'll be out next week. We've got a series of guest hosts who are set to carry the torch next week in my absence. We'll be here tomorrow, by the way, we will be out next week. We've got Chris Dunham, who's been a guest host on this program for some time. He'll be here for a couple days. We've got John Crane, we've got Gary Varvel. And we've got Tony Reffeitt as well, all filling in for me next week in my absence, so. But that doesn't change what we're going to do today. In fact, I'm looking forward to today, and I hope you do as well. Once I tell you what, we're going to talk.
Todd Huff: Know if you've listened to this program. If you've listened to this program for any length of time, that I believe that we are in the midst of a cold war in this country. This is ideological, just as the Cold War was ideological back in the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s. Right at the end of World War II, the Soviet communists took over the eastern part of Europe, the free societies of the United States of America. What used to be the free society of Great Britain took, I don't want to say control, but took influence in the west. And for a period of time, there was an ideological war. In fact, when my entire childhood was raised, I grew up. And if you're around my age, you know what I mean. You grew up with just this constant tension. Now, as a kid, you didn't understand it, but I knew from watching the news there was constant tension.
Todd Huff: And there was this guy named Gorbachev. That's who the leader of the Soviet Union was primarily when I was a kid. And there were summits and there were talks of nuclear proliferation and Star Wars treaties, and there were summits and all sorts of things. I remember even I don't know if we did it, but I remember seeing videos of students getting under their desks in case of a nuclear attack. And that was the world that I grew up in. As though that was going to do you any good to get under your desk anyway. But that's. That's the world that I grew up in. And it was ideological at its core. Like, you could say the battle was political, international politics on the world stage, jockeying for influence or control in places like Afghanistan or the Eastern bloc of Europe. All. All these, you know, Eastern bloc of the Soviet Union.
Todd Huff: And all these things stemmed from ideological differences. And if you understand Marxism, communism, Soviet communism, and you understand the concepts, the ideology of that's rooted in freedom and liberty, what we have here in this country, you can see that they're incompatible. They're completely incompatible. In fact, our country was built was established on the recognition. You go back to the founding document, the Declaration of Independence and, of course, the Constitution. But the Constitution doesn't make reference to God. The Declaration does. Four times, in fact. We hold these truths to be self evident. The Founders wrote that all men are created equal, endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights. That among those are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Todd Huff: Our founders recognize that rights come from God, not from government. I've been through this. I don't want to rehash that point. I'm just leading into what I want to talk about today. And so if you take a step back from politics, right, you take a step back from the politics of the Cold War, and you take a step back of the politics of today, you'll find ideas and beliefs that fuel that political battle. And at the core of the political battles that we face today, if you take a step back and look at the ideas, just like there were ideological differences between the west and the Soviet Union back in the Cold War era, there are foundational differences between those people who want to return to America's founding as crafted by our Founding Fathers. And you have those who want to establish something altogether different.
Todd Huff: You can call it any number of things. You can call it wokeism. You can call it radical leftism. You can call it communism. You can call it ironically, fascism. It's a growth of government where there's less freedom for the individual, more control, less free speech more the government saying what you can and can say, believe, think it all those sorts of things. It's absolute tyranny at its core. And if it's followed out to its complete, to its end, it leads to absolute and utter tyranny. That's where it ends. That's where it leads. But that's the battle that we're facing today. And if you look at the core, if you look at the core of the difference here, the difference lies in one of the key differences between these two ideologies.
Todd Huff: One lies in the belief, a belief in God. You know, if you believe in God, in a creator. I'm not talking specifically yet. I will get there. I'm not talking specifically yet about the God of the Bible or the God of Islam or another faith or whatever. I'm talking just in general. If you believe in a creator, we can identify who that creator is later on. But if you believe in a creator, you believe in certain things that people who don't believe in a creator or don't want there to be a creator will believe, will say that they believe, will value. That concept that I said early on, that our freedoms come from God, our liberties come from God, not from man, not from a government, not from an institution. We were given those freedoms as created beings of God.
Todd Huff: And he's the one that gave those to us. And as such, he's the only one who can take them away. We don't want him to take them away, but ultimately those things are his prerogative. We're not God. We can argue with him, we can plead with Him, I guess, but no other person can take them away. And this foundational belief or this belief in God is critical to forming your values and your beliefs. You can't believe, really and be consistent in any form of absolute morality without a creator. There has to be a moral law giver for there to be morality. This is inescapable, my friends. And I don't want to get into that. I want to lead to something that I saw on X and that I've seen talked about, and that is this.
Todd Huff: You all know Elon Musk. Elon Musk is, of course, now he owns X. He owns SpaceX and Tesla. Elon has helped Donald Trump. They've had a spat or two. But Elon has. I think there's a lot of things that I want to commend. Musk for his. I do think he wants to see free speech. I do think that he wants to see the free exchange of ideas. I do think that he sees the beauty of America, and I think he understands some of the risks. I'm not. Listen, this is not just a universal pass on everything, Elon Musk. But there's a lot of good Musk has done. I think that that's undeniable.
Todd Huff: Now, is Elon Musk perfect? Absolutely not. None of us are. Is Elon Musk to be trusted above all things? Certainly not. That's not what I'm saying. I think we should be skeptical, especially of people with this much power, we should be aware could change on a dime. I mean, some of these personalities that have this much power and influence and wealth, I mean, they can be. They. They can. They can sometimes swing just pretty quickly one way or another. And we want to be careful and just mindful of that. And this is not an attack on him. It really isn't. But Elon Musk, there was a person on X who made a comment.
Todd Huff: And the comment was someone needs to evangelize Elon Musk. Basically, someone needs to tell Elon Musk about Jesus. And Elon Musk actually responded to the comment, and he wrote this: I agree with the teachings of Jesus. Friends. Let's pause. Let's pause for a moment. I want to say I respect that. There's a lot more, a lot more to being a follower of Jesus than simply making this statement. But let me. Let me take a moment to just sit here and to say I respect his taking steps toward Jesus. Now, let me be clear. The Bible makes it clear that we can't approach God. We can only approach God because God loves us and has given us grace.
Todd Huff: But Elon Musk is using that grace to take steps toward Jesus, toward truth, as I would say. These comments don't mean that he's fully there. And I'll get to that in a moment. But he appears open. He appears to me responsive. He appears. It appears as though he's moving toward God, and I want to acknowledge that. You know, not everybody has a Damascus Road moment. For those of you who know your Bible, you'll know that there was a man named Paul in the New Testament. He's actually was first named Saul. He was a Pharisee. He was. He knew, he had the scriptures memorized. He was very knowledgeable and insightful. But he hated Christians.
Todd Huff: He hated Christians. In the early days after Jesus's crucifixion, he watches Christians were spreading the gospel and he didn't like that. And so he actually participated in capturing and, and killing, imprisoning, punishing Christians. He did that. But then on a trip to Damascus, to Damascus Road, actually, a trip, I believe, if memory serves me, to get some other Christians who are out there talking about this guy Jesus, Paul Saul, at the time, had an encounter with God. God blinded him. God changed him. I mean, of course, it's a process, right, of being sanctified and made more like Jesus. But he had a dramatic encounter.
Todd Huff: He left as Saul. He came back as Paul. He left as someone who was persecuting Christians. He came back as someone who spread the message, even to the point where he himself gave his life for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. And it's easy to say that everybody's experience should be like that. Far be it from us, my friends, to say that. Though there is one way, there's one way to the Father. Jesus made this clear. Jesus says, I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me. There's one way to the Father, that's through Jesus.
Todd Huff: But there are many ways that people individually can get to Jesus. And let's just tap the brakes here before we want to just be part of the crowd who says, oh, he's not really there yet. Okay, maybe he's not. But he's in the right direction. Let's not throw the final party saying that Elon has become a Christ follower. But this is. He's heading in that direction. God draws us first. Think about your experience. Those of you who are followers of Jesus. If you're not a follower of Christ, I hope you become one. But think about just think about the truth, the way that you've learned and adapted to the things you've known that are true.
Todd Huff: You might have been as a parent, you might have learned over time, oh, wow. I shouldn't have done that. And you might have become better. Now, some of the times we become worse, people can really just unravel at times. But we respond to the truth as best we can and adjust. At the moment, God is doing the drawing here. And I think we can commend his openness without saying that he's necessarily completed the journey. Now, it's not for me to say, but the way that it's spoken makes me have. Those are the thoughts that I have.
Todd Huff: So I mentioned. Well, let me pause there. Let me pause. And I want to talk about this today. That's where I want to go. So before I do that. Friends. Do you ever wish that you have a team? Todd Huff: Let's now shift gears. I'm not shift gears. But let's take this as the starting point of the conversation today. And let's get to. Sorry. Here. I got to change the font color because it changed it to white. There we go. I got notes here. I want to read this full text. Now, you know, if you've listened to this program, there's a occasion where I reference a man by the name of C.S. Lewis. C.S. Lewis is well was a Christian apologist, C.S. Lewis started off as an atheist and made it his objective to prove that there wasn't a God. And on, of course, that journey to proving there wasn't a God, he had an encounter with God and he became a follower of Jesus and he spent a lot of his time.
Todd Huff: This is the guy who wrote The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, The Chronicles of Narnia, that series, which, of course, there's movies about just fantastic stuff. But he also wrote other books. Not just fiction. Not just fiction. Alongside his novelist buddies back in the day, like Tolkien. He also wrote books like Mere Christianity and I'll tell you, Mere Christianity. I read this book in 1999. I know that because I read it when I was in. I think it was right before I went to Washington, D.C. at American University, for that semester program. And I remember that was 1999. And I have to tell you. This book if you've not read it.
Todd Huff: I mean, it is heavy. It is. It's thick. Now, I was a much younger person. As you age, things. Things become certain, things become clearer and so forth. But this was a heavy book, a fantastic book. Mere Christianity is the name of it written by C.S. Lewis. He's got a quote now, you may have heard part of this quote, all of this quote. I want to read this to you because it takes where Elon is, what he said, and I want to put context and I want to put the emphasis on who Jesus claimed that he was. And the decision not just to say Jesus is a good teacher, but the decision that we all make to decide whether or not we are going to accept who Jesus said that he was and whether we're going to submit to that.
Todd Huff: So here's what C.S. Lewis wrote in his book Mere Christianity, which, again, if you've not read it, one million percent recommend this book. In fact, if I was to recommend a single book outside the Bible, this would definitely be a contender for me as to something that I would recommend. Here's what he wrote. Book two, Chapter three. Mere Christianity. I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about him. He's talking about Jesus here. I'm ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher. But I don't accept his claim to be God. That is the one thing we must not say.
Todd Huff: A man who was merely a man. Right. Mere Christianity. Merely a man. And said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic on the level with the man who says he's a poached egg. Or else he would be the devil of hell. You must make the choice. Either this man was and is the Son of God. Or else a madman or something worse. You can shut him up for a fool. You can spit at him and kill him as a demon. Or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God. But let us not come.
Todd Huff: Here's the final nail in this statement, my friends. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about his being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to. Profound. I mean, absolutely profound and spot on, correct? Let me break this down really quickly before we get more into this as we go through the program. Basically what Lewis is saying here is don't go around saying, oh, man, Jesus was a great teacher. Great moral teacher and put him in this category with Socrates and Plato or whatever other philosopher types that you would throw in there. Rene Descartes, whoever you would throw in there.
Todd Huff: Jesus, a great teacher. Smart guy. Taught some good things, right? That's the one thing Jesus C.S. Lewis said did not leave open to us. Because he's not a great human teacher if he receives praise. He's not a great human teacher if he says I am the way, the truth and the life and then he doesn't deliver on that promise. C.S. Lewis said he's either crazy or he said he would be someone who's. I don't even like saying the words. But this is what you're forced to decide. He's either God, what is it? Liar, lunatic, or Lord. Those are the options. Them's the choices, my friends. Them's the choices.
Todd Huff: Liar. He's making it all up. Lunatic. He's making it up, but he's crazy. These are the options. Liar is he's intentionally misleading you. Lunatic. He just doesn't understand. And he's unintentionally misleading you. Or he's telling you the truth. And if he's telling you the truth, then he is the Lord. And that, my friends, that, my friends, is where Elon is headed to. That choice. I hope he doesn't stop here. I hope he doesn't just stop here and say, wow, I like the golden rule. Or wow, you know, turn the other cheek is a nice thing to say. Or take your pick, right?
Todd Huff: I liked his compassion that he showed to people who were sick. That's not where the story leads us. It certainly includes those things. Make no mistake about it. But those miracles, the divine character of Jesus that was shining through his entire life was to point to the greater truth. Not just for you to say, wow, he's an inspirational figure. But no, this is the God of the universe who came to this planet to restore what we broke in the Garden of Eden when we sinned and broke our relationship with God. He has made efforts and he's going to succeed.
Todd Huff: By the way, it's taken him 6,000 years. I don't mean that he's taken. He's been patient. He's built it brick by brick. He's come in the form of Christ to the cross. He's given us a chance. He's being patient with us as we navigate these challenging times, my friends. So got to take a break here. Got to take a break. Before I do that, let me just remind you, if you've not checked, check out Freedom Marketplace, the place where you can find businesses that are pushing in the same direction you are. They share your conservative principles. They love this country. They want to see America put first. They've signed an agreement that says we are not going to support leftist candidates or leftist causes.
Todd Huff (Sponsor): So check it out. FreedomMarketplace.net. These are businesses that again, share your values or pushing in the same direction you are in this highly volatile climate. FreedomMarketplace.net liberty and business for all. Timeout for me, my friends. Back in just a minute.
Todd Huff: Welcome back, my friends. A lot I want to get to here today, my friends, so let's pick up where we left off. Before we do this, though, let me point out that there's a lot of companies out there that do not share our Christian values. The good news is we don't have to invest in them. At 4:8 Financial they specialize in Biblically responsible investing. They help us screen out companies that go against our faith, our values, and create a plan that's tailored to our goals. They'll handle the heavy lifting for us and we can focus on what really matters.
Todd Huff (Sponsor): Now you can see if your current investments are in alignment with your faith or to what degree they are your faith, your values. All you have to do is head on over to 48financial.com/todd. 48financial.com Todd, you can take a quick and easy assessment and then they will give you a report that says this is how aligned your investments are with your values. So 48financial.com Todd is where you can go for that assessment. 4:8 Financial. Helping align your money with your mission.
Todd Huff: Okay? If you were to ask, I think, the average person and say, what is the what do I want to say here? Maybe the favorite, the name of choice that Jesus preferred, the name he used to reference himself the most or his favorite. I don't know if that's the right way of saying it, but I think it probably would be the Son of Man. Now in today's world, when we want to talk about Jesus's deity, we say the Son of God. Right. And certainly that's a part of it. But the term Son of God actually is used to refer to other groups. Not just to Davidic kings, to angels.
Todd Huff: The term Son of Man is actually, I think this would hold up under scrutiny, is actually the term that's more that points to Jesus's divinity. In fact, it goes back to Daniel in the Old Testament. The Book of Daniel, chapter 7, verses 13 and 14. They say this. I kept looking in the night visions and behold, with the clouds of heaven, one like a Son of Man was coming. And he came up to the Ancient of Days and was presented before him, and to him was given dominion, glory and a kingdom, that all of the peoples, nations and men of every language might serve him.
Todd Huff: His dominion is an everlasting dominion which will not pass away and his kingdom is one which will not be destroyed. So the Son of Man approached God the Father on his throne and was presented before him. The Bible says here. And he was given dominion. He was given glory and a kingdom. You know, David, there were earthly kings, but the earthly kings did not do were not given the level were not given the same level of acknowledgment here. This is very significant. So when Jesus refers to himself as the Son of Man, that's a that's a claim of deity.
Todd Huff: In fact, when Jesus was brought before the Sanhedrin, Mark chapter 14 here it says this. But he talking about Jesus kept silent and did not answer. Again the high priest was questioning him and saying to him, are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One? The Christ. That's a title. Jesus. Jesus was his name. Christ was the title. Messiah. This is the Jewish people are still awaiting the Messiah. The Christ. And so he's asking him, asking Jesus if he is the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One. These are all capitalized. So he's talking about the Son of God, the Father.
Todd Huff: And Jesus said, I am. And here we go. He references that passage. Well, he actually references a psalm, but he also but it's combined with that imagery that we just read in Daniel. It says, and Jesus said, I am and you shall see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of power and coming with the clouds of heaven. This is when. And the Bible says here, tearing his clothes the high priest says, what further need do we have of witnesses? You have heard the blasphemy. How does it seem to you? And they all condemned him to be deserving of death.
Todd Huff: So they recognize this is Jesus before the religious leaders, right? The Sanhedrin, and he's telling them that he's the Messiah. Now, it may seem a little coded to us today in 21st century America, but make no mistake. Look at the reaction of the high priest here. Someone is claiming to be the Messiah. And if they're not the Messiah, that's blasphemous. That's claiming to be God. That's unacceptable. And so they must be put to death. Jesus made other claims other times in the Bible. You know, it's amazing to me, people say Jesus didn't claim to be God. What are they talking about? Are they reading the same Bible I'm reading?
Todd Huff: John chapter 8, verse 58, 59. Jesus said to them, truly, truly, I say to you before Abraham was born, I am. Pause everything. You know the story. Again. I know some of you are biblical scholars. Some of you may not know much of anything, but there's a story, and that's not an insult. I'm just saying you might not have been familiar with the Bible. There was a time. Listen, I became a Christian, a follower of Jesus at the age of 16. And I will tell you this. I will tell you this. I didn't know anything. I knew there was a guy named David, a guy named Moses, and I knew there was a guy named Jesus that I should be really concerned with, but that's all that I knew.
Todd Huff: And it's okay, so I'm not being insulting here. I'm just saying there's context here. Right. That may that may sound like, well, he didn't say he was God there. You don't think so? Let me explain why, when God came to Moses, he made himself known. In fact, it's the first time he gave his personal name. Yahweh. First time we heard it was in Exodus chapter three, I believe it was, where God approaches Moses. And he's in the burning bush. And there's a conversation. Moses. Moses and Moses go. I don't want to go through all the details, but basically God tells him his name is Yahweh.
Todd Huff: Because he says, go to tell go tell Pharaoh in Egypt. Moses wasn't in Egypt at the time. But go back to Egypt and tell them, tell him to let my people go. And Moses thinks this is crazy. What do you? I'm gonna get myself killed. I've been exiled from there. You know, they want. I'm wanted for murder there. It would spend 40 years ago that this has all happened. My going back there. And besides which, who am I to stroll in there to say, let my people go? Well, God said if they want to know who sent you, tell them I am sent you.
Todd Huff: So when God uses the words I am, it's in reference to his name. When Abraham was, I am. You talk about powerful stuff. God. God is eternal, right? God is everlasting. There's no beginning and end. So he says I am. That's a name that he says. So Jesus says here in John 8, truly, truly, I say to you before Abraham was born, I am. He's claiming eternality and he's connecting himself to that name of God. And what was the response of this? Therefore, they picked up stones to throw at him. But Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple.
Todd Huff: So they again recognized this as blasphemy. They recognized the claim to deity. That's exactly why they were trying to stone him. When he was approaching the disciples when he walked on the lake, he says to them, take courage. It is I. Do not be afraid. The literal translation is, take courage. I am. Now, there's some debate over this because this was written in Greek. It wasn't Hebrew Old Testament. But it's the same word I am that I referenced in John chapter eight there. So again, some people believe that it's quite possible Jesus was saying I am in this statement.
Todd Huff: Take courage. I am. Those in the boat worshiped him, saying, you are certainly God's Son. So Jesus accepted worship. No one else did. Angels don't accept worship. The only one who does is God. Thomas answered in John 20, answered Jesus and said, my Lord and my God. Jesus didn't say, no, no, no, you got it wrong. Jesus accepted that because it was true. John the Baptist when he saw Jesus, John chapter one said, it says, the next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.
Todd Huff: Who can forgive sins, my friends, but God alone? When Jesus was crucified, they put a sign on the cross that says, Jesus the Nazarene, the King of the Jews. In fact, the Pharisees, the religious leaders got upset at this because they went to Pilate and said, he's not the King of the Jews, he's just saying he's the King of the Jews. This is in John chapter 19. Look it up. The chief priests went to Pilate and said, don't write the King of the Jews. But that he said, I'm the King of the Jews. Pilate said, what I have written, I have written.
Todd Huff: You caused enough trouble here today. I'm not worried about the details. That's what he said he was. That's who he said he was. The King of the Jews. Who's the King of the Jews? The King of the Jews, my friends, is almighty God. So Jesus is not just a great human moral teacher. He is God incarnate. He's part of the Trinity. I don't listen. I can't explain all this. He's part of the triune God that came. He came to save his people from their sins. I've got to take a time out, my friends. Quick time out. Back in just a minute.
Todd Huff: Welcome back, my friends. Today is Thursday. I'll be out next week. We'll be here tomorrow. But today's Thursday. Every Thursday, Christopher's Organic Botanicals hosts the weekly Tea Talk, happens at 7pm Eastern every Thursday. And during that call, they answer questions and help people understand Kratom, what it is, how it's used, how to stay safe, what to avoid all those things. They believe education is paramount, especially when there's a lot of misunderstanding and there's a lot of negative headlines about Kratom, but it's also helped a lot of people dealing with some discomfort. And so it's a good thing to learn more about it.
Todd Huff (Sponsor): You can do that tonight if you've got questions about relief, dosage, safety, all those things. This is the place to ask. You can join the conversation tonight, Thursday, 7pm Eastern. For more information visit Christopher's Organic Botanicals.com. Truth. Tradition. Transparency, my friends.
Todd Huff: Listen. I want to conclude here again, we're talking about Elon Musk saying that he agrees with the teachings of Jesus. And I hope he does. I hope that he does. Could be a process where he's continuing to have things revealed to him over the course of time, and I hope that's what it is. Some people just stop and say, I don't want to call him Lord. I don't want to accept that he, you know, he has expectations of me. He paid the price. We're saved by grace through faith. That's true. Grace is getting what I don't deserve. None of us deserve any of this. We don't deserve his salvation. We don't deserve his free gift of eternal life. We don't deserve the promise of his spirit living in us.
Todd Huff: Our bodies, the Bible says, are the temple. We're not temples because we're something beautiful. That's the wrong way of looking at it. We're temples because that's where God resides. He resides in the lives, the hearts of his children. He promises the spirit, and we don't deserve any of those things. It's also true that we are called to live a certain life. We're called to take up our cross daily and follow him. We're called to be sanctified, which means we're called to be refined to look more like Jesus. That is a process. And that's a process for everybody. For me, for Elon Musk, to you and anyone else on the face of the planet throughout all times.
Todd Huff: A lot of people stop by just they realize Jesus was such a transformative figure historically, I mean. Folks, the way we track time in the modern world, AD and BC it hinges upon the birth of Jesus. Now they come up with crazy phrases today BCE because they want to avoid the obvious. Before the Common Era. Well, what was the Common Era? The Common Era hinged upon the birth and the life and the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. That's what it hinged upon. Before the Common Era. Give me a break. I get so sick of this stupid stuff. Just the levels that people go to to avoid having to face this decision, this choice for what it is, is startling to me.
Todd Huff: If you're one who wants to seek truth, you have to come to grips with the answer to this question. You're free to answer it as you choose. But not all answers are right either, my friends. Jesus. Jesus. To tie this back to what C.S. Lewis wrote, Jesus is either a liar, a lunatic or the Lord. And here. This. The Bible says some things about this, too. Not everyone, Jesus says in Matthew 7, who says to me, Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven. But he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name perform many miracles?
Todd Huff: And then I will declare to them I never knew you depart from me, you who practice lawlessness. The Bible tells us in James, you believe in one God. Good. You do well. The demons also believe and they shudder. We all know that there's a God. We all know that there is one creator of this universe. We can try to deny it again. I've said before I don't believe an atheist. I lifted that line from someone. I don't know who said it, but I love it. I don't believe atheists. God. If you know, if you read the story of the Bible, God created perfect harmony with humanity.
Todd Huff: We messed it up by sinning in the Garden of Eden and the entire story of the Bible is a story of reconciliation, of God trying to recreate. And of course, he's going to succeed. Through his process basically amounts to Garden of Eden again, where he has intimacy with his children. But he couldn't ignore sin. The Bible says all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. And we have. In fact, if you read the Ten Commandments, you don't have to get far down the list to realize that you've fallen short. That I've fallen short. The first one. You shall have no other gods before me. I mean, gee whiz. We live in open rebellion against God. We've made ourselves god. We made other things god.
Todd Huff: None of us are perfect. But if you go down that list, chances are, well, the chances are 100% that you've broken at least something there, probably all of them, if we're being candid. If we understand the context, when Jesus says murder is hating your brother in your heart, adultery is looking lustfully at a woman. If you look at these things, you've broken it. Broken the law. So the good news is, though, Jesus came to pay the penalty. He became the atonement for your sins, for my sins. The Bible says if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Todd Huff: For with the heart a person believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses resulting in salvation. I hope Elon Musk and everyone seeks this truth, my friends. Gotta go. SDG.
