When you look at what’s happening in the race for the Speaker of the House, it’s about who’s going to control the Republican Party. Are we going to have Conservative leadership or moderate, country club Rhino’s? Republican does not equal Conservative. The last time we had a conservative speaker in Congress was Newt Gingrich from 1995-1999. There were 20 Republicans who didn’t vote for Rep. Jim Jordan.

Democrats are calling out the Radical Left for their lack of support for Israel. Republicans are helping to get Americans home from Israel.

Israel being in Gaza is not the problem. The real threat is the radical Islamic terrorists who seek the destruction and elimination of Israel & the Jewish people. The State of Israel has the right to defend itself. President Biden and the battle for the Speaker of the House.

Israel has made it clear that they will not negotiate with terrorists & are planning to eradicate Hamas from Gaza. They are in the process of going in with ground forces. Israel has informed innocent citizens of Gaza to evacuate. Hamas uses its citizens as human shields & preventing people from leaving. Louisiana voted in a Republican Governor for the first time since 2008. Rep. Jim Jordan has been nominated as the next Speaker of the House after Rep. Steve Scalise didn’t have enough votes. According to one Wisconsin state representative, women losing to trans women in sports “just need to work harder.”

A former Hamas leader asked for a worldwide “Day of Anger” today, October 13th. He has called for protests & Jihad around the world in support of Palestine. Donald Trump is on record saying the Biden Administration should re-freeze the $6 billion they released to Iran, but the money train is worse than we think.

Squad member, Rep. Rashida Tlaib, refused to speak out against the atrocities committed on children by Hamas.

In September, the Biden Administration knew Palestinian aid would boost Hamas and they went ahead and sent it anyway. This money has been frozen since the Trump Administration. U.S. weapons left behind in Afghanistan were predicted by the IDF that they could/would be used against Israel. It is being reported that that is exactly what has happened. The Taliban has sold & smuggled weapons out of Afghanistan. Hamas used weapons left behind by the U.S. to attack Israel this weekend. This hits home for the U.S. because of our open southern border.

In the U.S., we have an ideological cold war of opposing worldviews. American weakness is provocative. When America is weak, the world is less safe. We continue our discussion of the Israel-Hamas war.

On Saturday morning, the terrorist group Hamas, attacked Israel with rockets & ground forces in a surprise invasion. They have inflicted terror on Israelis by bombing buildings, going door to door & killing civilians, and kidnapping and raping women and children. Israel officially declared war for the first time in 50 years stating, “This is our 9/11.”

Since Kevin McCarthy was voted out of his role as Speaker of the House, Donald Trump’s name has been floated as his replacement. Matt Gaetz even nominated him from the floor. You do not have to be a member of the House to become the speaker, so Trump would be eligible if he was voted in. Brian Kilmeade, of Fox News, completely embarrasses himself during an interview.

Both sides of the aisle have battles within themselves that are brewing. The Establishment/Rhino Republicans vs. the Conservative/Libertarian-type Republicans AND the Radical Left vs. Moderate Liberal Democrats. We discuss the differences between them & how the issues at the southern border are connected.

President Biden signed a stopgap/funding bill to prevent a government shutdown for at least another 45 days. Meanwhile, they will continue to ignore the real root problem. Rep. Jamaal Bowman pulls the fire alarm. Rep. Matt Gaetz has stated that he’ll make a motion to vacate the chair to remove Rep. Kevin McCarthy from his role as Speaker of the House.

Watching the GOP debate is like watching the backup team fighting over who’s going to be the backup if Trump isn’t the nominee. It seems as if all the other candidates on the debate stage try to mimic their own inner Donald Trump in mannerisms, name-calling, and personality. It’s off-putting & embarrassing. The Senate has decided to backtrack & change its dress code.

October 1, 2023, is the deadline for Congress to pass twelve bills that would fund government operations. If they are not passed, it could trigger a government shutdown.
