Todd Talk: January 6th: Truth, Accountability, and Media Narratives

A 60-second conservative commentary with humor and heart.

My friends, remembering historical events matters when propaganda tries to hide the truth.

Five years ago today, January 6th, 2021 happened. Immediately, the Left and the media rushed to rebrand it as America’s second Pearl Harbor or 9/11. But that’s pure nonsense.

January 6th wasn’t an act of war or an attempt to overthrow the government. It was a protest that turned violent for some.

And if someone breaks the law, they should be held accountable — blindly, fairly, equally.

But wisdom teaches us that more than one thing can be true. Crimes can occur, and the aftermath can be politically weaponized.

Surveillance footage can be withheld. A political narrative enforced. Free speech punished. Due process ignored.

If people care about threats to our democracy, they should start by understanding the truth about January 6th.
