My friends, ever notice how some people treat government like it’s the family handyman — always reliable, never wrong? But when it comes to big business, every motive is suddenly suspect. Yet if a corporate leader pushes the progressive agenda, all that skepticism seems to vanish.

I’m not suggesting that you trust big business. I’m simply saying that the greatest corruption is not found in corporate boardrooms.

The most horrific atrocities in human history have come at the hands of the government. One researcher claimed that 110 million people were killed by their own governments in the 20th century. Wal-Mart, Google, and Facebook weren’t responsible for that.

My friends, you can walk away from a business, but you’re stuck with your government. That’s why it absolutely deserves top-level scrutiny.
