Todd Talk: Supreme Court to Decide Key Mail-In Ballot Case.

A 60-second conservative commentary with humor and heart.

My friends, the Supreme Court just agreed to take up one of the biggest election integrity cases in years — RNC v. Watson, challenging a Mississippi law allowing mail-in ballots postmarked by Election Day but received later. This case could decide when mail-in ballots must be received and counted in future national elections.

Reasonable, fair-minded people across the political spectrum want elections we can trust. Unfortunately, some people don’t. They are fine with confusion and chaos if it helps their side win.

But that trust starts with clear, consistent rules — not creative interpretations of state law after the votes are cast. The Constitution gives legislatures the job of setting election procedures — not governors, not secretaries of state, not judges.

When we follow the law, not political winds, freedom stays free.
