Todd Talk: The Fading Trend of Transgender Identity Among Youth

A 60-second conservative commentary with humor and heart.

Illustration of a young person stepping into light as the word “trend” fades, symbolizing truth overcoming social confusion about gender identity.

My friends, a new study covered by The Blaze shows something remarkable. The number of young people identifying as transgender is falling fast.

Researchers say that big spike we saw just a few years ago wasn’t a sudden awakening. It was a trend — a social wave where identifying as trans became, in many circles, the thing to do.

But like all trends, this one is fading.

Identity isn’t a costume you can try on when it’s in vogue.

It’s something deeper than hashtags or peer approval — something that can’t be rewritten by slogans or social pressure.

Culture can pressure. It can confuse. It can even celebrate denial for a while.

But reality is undeniable.

And if we choose to embrace the truth instead of mythical narrative, truth becomes the inevitable winner.
